Kotak Services Fund: Launch Date, Investment Objective, Strategy & Key Details

Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund has launched the Kotak Services Fund, an open-ended equity scheme that aims to capture long-term capital growth by investing predominantly in companies operating within India’s fast-expanding services sector.

The scheme seeks to generate long-term capital appreciation through an

actively managed portfolio of equity and equity-related instruments of companies engaged in the services theme. This includes sectors such as banking, IT services, fintech, telecom, healthcare services, logistics, media, retail, hospitality, and other service-oriented businesses that are increasingly becoming the backbone of India’s economic growth.

The Kotak Services Fund offers investors a focused way to participate in this structural growth theme. However, being a thematic fund, returns can be cyclical and sector-dependent, making it more suitable as a satellite allocation rather than a core portfolio holding.
