Bandhan Mutual Fund has announced the launch of the Bandhan Gold ETF FOF, an open-ended fund of fund scheme that invests predominantly in units of Gold Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs). The scheme is designed to provide investors exposure to gold as an asset class through a mutual fund structure, tracking domestic physical gold prices.
The scheme aims to offer capital appreciation by investing in Gold ETFs, which in turn invest in physical gold.
The investment objective of the Bandhan Gold ETF FOF is to seek capital appreciation by investing in units of Gold ETFs. The performance of the scheme is benchmarked against the Domestic Price of Physical Gold, which is considered most appropriate given the scheme’s underlying exposure to physical gold through ETFs.
The scheme is passively managed and does not attempt to take defensive positions or make active asset allocation decisions based on market conditions. However, there is no assurance or guarantee that the investment objective of the scheme will be achieved.
